ZunoPad: YouTube/ChatGPT Screenshot Notebook
Effective Date & Last Updated: September 2026
1. Introduction & Overview
Zuno Suite ("we", "our", or "us") provides the ZunoPad: YouTube/ChatGPT Screenshot Notebook browser extension and associated web services at zunopad.in. We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of user privacy, transparency, and data minimization.
Core Privacy Principle: Local-first architecture. All your screenshots, annotations, and study notes remain 100% on your device unless you explicitly trigger optional cloud backup to your own Google Drive or Microsoft OneNote account.
2. Information We Collect and Process
We follow a strict policy of data minimization. We only access the minimal data strictly required to deliver the extension's core features:
- Local User Data (Local-First): All your personal notes, task checklists, timers, drawings, bookmarks, or flashcards are stored exclusively inside your browser's local storage (
chrome.storage.localorchrome.storage.sync). They are never sent to, stored on, or monetized on our servers. - Account & License Authentication: If you purchase or activate ZunoPad PRO, we verify your Google email address via Google OAuth to confirm your PRO license status.
- Payments & Billing: Payments are processed directly through PCI-DSS certified payment gateways (e.g. Razorpay). We never receive, process, or store your credit/debit card numbers, UPI PINs, or banking passwords.
- No Browsing History Tracking: We do not track, record, inspect, sell, or monetize your web browsing history or search queries.
- No In-Extension Telemetry or Analytics: The ZunoPad PRO browser extension contains zero third-party tracking, analytics, or behavioral telemetry libraries. Anonymous aggregated traffic metrics (page visits and button clicks) are restricted strictly to our public web portal (
zunopad.in) using privacy-hardened Google Analytics with automated IP anonymization and zero PII transmission.
3. Chrome Extension Permissions & Justifications
In compliance with the Google Chrome Web Store Developer Program Policies, here is the detailed justification for each permission requested by ZunoPad PRO:

This permission is strictly restricted to files and folders created directly by ZunoPad (e.g., your ZunoPad/ backup folder). ZunoPad cannot and does not access, read, modify, or delete any other files in your Google Drive.
Google API Limited Use Policy: ZunoPad's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Because your personal data resides locally in your browser storage, you have complete and total control over it. You can erase all data at any time simply by clearing your browser cache or uninstalling the extension.
