About Me & ZunoPad
Building high-speed, local-first tools to make visual learning and note-taking effortless for students, aspirants, and developers.
Vikas Kumar
Full-Stack Software Engineer & Founder of ZunoPad
Hi, I'm Vikas Kumar. I am a passionate software developer, creator, and lifelong learner based in India. I built ZunoPad to solve a problem I personally faced every single day while studying from video lectures on YouTube and the web.
💡 The Story Behind ZunoPad
Like millions of students and self-learners, I spend countless hours studying technical topics, marathon lectures, coding tutorials, and exam preparation material online.
However, taking effective notes from video lectures was always frustrating:
- ❌ Constantly pausing videos, manually taking screenshots with messy video player controls covering teacher notes and diagrams.
- ❌ Forgetting which timestamp in a 4-hour marathon class a specific formula or concept was explained.
- ❌ Having screenshots scattered across random desktop folders with zero organization.
- ❌ Spending hours rewriting notes by hand before exams instead of revising cleanly.
I decided to build ZunoPad (tubeNote) — an ultra-fast, local-first Chrome extension that allows anyone to capture crystal-clear video snapshots in 1 click, annotate formulas directly on the board, keep everything structured by Subject, Chapter, and Topic, sync seamlessly to Microsoft OneNote & Google Drive, and compile print-ready PDF study booklets with one click.
Local-First & 100% Private
Your notes and snapshots are stored locally on your device in your browser. No unwanted tracking, no unauthorized data selling. Your study material belongs solely to you.
Speed & Zero Distraction
Engineered for maximum performance with asynchronous rendering, instant overlay shortcut (Alt+O), and zero lag even with thousands of snapshot notes.
Open Ecosystem Sync
Direct integration with Microsoft OneNote, Google Drive, and Obsidian markdown vaults so your notes integrate smoothly into your existing study workflow.
Built for Aspirants
Tailored for competitive exam candidates (UPSC, SSC, Banking, RRB, JEE, NEET, GATE) and university students needing fast revision before exams.
